| Session Description | There are many ways to monitor the progress, the quality or the maturity of a Software Product Line. Some use the number of bugs or rework, others measure the productivity of the Line. This session is about the use and misuse of productivity as a measurement unit for the quality of a SPL. We discuss the complexity and search for a solution on how Productivity can be used as a real and pure management tool. |
| Speaker(s) | Peter Mazereeuw (Archyon IT) Peter's started his IT career as an architect and trainer and became one of the international leads of Atos Origin in the area of software factories. Peter left Atos Origin recently to become an independent software development consultant, assisting companies with setting up and improving productivity of projects, Software Product Lines and software factories. Peter switched to IT around 10 years ago having been a physics and computer science teacher for many years beforehand. |
