PPL2009 SOCIAL EVENTS

It's not all hard work at the conference, as well as networking opportunities during the day we also have a conference dinner on the first evening preceded by a canal boat tour of Amsterdam's historic centre. These events are included in your conference fees.

Our 4 keynote speakers have kindly offered to give participants a chance to meet and speak with them during one lunchtime. This gives you a chance to discuss their keynote further and also to find out in depth how their experiences map to your challenges and opportunities.

Canal boat Tour

What better way to see the sights of Amsterdam than with a tour by canal boat? We'll see the main sights and will arrive at our restaurant in style.

Conference Dinner at the Cafe American

The tour will be followed by our conference dinner at the Cafe American:

Menu:

  • Beef carpaccio with a truffle dressing, Old Amsterdam cheese, pine nuts and roquette lettuce OR
  • Lobster tail tartlet with smoked salmon, served with herb salad and a basil mayonnaise
  • Sauted loin of veal with a red wine truffle gravy, served with seasonal vegetables and a potato mousseline OR
  • Sea bass fillet with tomato aceto salsa served with a puree of ‘topinamboer’ and a mix of seasonal vegetables.
  • Lemon meringue pie with citrus ice cream OR
  • ‘Chocolate dream’: White and Dark chocolate with a orange chutney

Vegetarian menu:

  • Spinach salad served with tomato and mozzarella
  • Quiche of goat cheese served with grilled courgette
